Frankie Weir ?? |
Anyone ever hear of Frankie Weir? I was reading the Rolling Stone "Garcia" biography and in one of the articles about the principle of Hypnocracy it says:
Joined to the karass like its shadow is the concept of hypnocracy. you'll get a confusing variety of answers if you inquire the meaning of the word. In fact its considered bad form to ask. "It's for me to know and for you to find out" says Garcia. "I used to know" says Frankie Weir [Bob Weir's wife], adding that it depended on wether you were a bozo or a bolo.
Anyone ever heard of Frankie Weir and what is the deal?

Re: Frankie Weir ?? |
You can find her on Wiki. She and Bob were not married but were together for 6 yrs. (i think) I knew her after she and Bob split. She was married and living in NC until relocating to Lawrence, Kansas where her husband was to attend the University there. Her husband was the subject in "Alabama Getaway". She played the demo tape of that song for me. Bob had sent it to her before release (for approval?) I would like to find her just to say hello.

By the way...Her real name was Judy Azzara. I learned this on Wiki (Bob Weir), but I knew her as Frankie Hart. More about that in "Long Hard Road" book (also on wiki). She still called herself Frankie Hart when I knew her...so she may not have been married to the Alabama guy (i will respect his privacy here) tho she called him her husband.
